About us
Alex, Jamie and Liz are three long term friends who got together looking for a change in career. Coming from totally different working backgrounds covering hospitality, finance and woodland management, we wondered how our diverse skill-sets along with a passion for the great outdoors could be put to good use. After some serious debate and a glass or two of wine, Ecotipi Events was born!
The company is based out of Liz's family farm in glorious South Gloucestershire, with far reaching views of the Malvern Hills and Tyndale Monument at North Nibley. During lockdown we used our time wisely to plant a small vineyard looking down over the beautiful woodland valley. One day soon we hope to offer the vineyard as an events space, allowing you to come and 'party in the vines' and hopefully sample some English wine when we start production. With plenty of camping space available we also hope to allow overnight stays, so watch this space!
Our company was conceived with operating in an environmentally sustainable way at the forefront of our processes. We try to avoid single use plastic where we can. We work with Carbonfootprint to off-set our events. At the close of each event we calculate the carbon bill, which is then sent off and they plant a corresponding number of trees to off-set the Co2.
Being a young company we aim to please with a simple, can-do attitude. We believe that anything you put your mind to can be achieved (and we like a challenge!), so please feel free to ask us any questions and let's see what we can do. See our 'Contact' page for how to get in touch
